How we're helping
Inspired by community map movements — built for UK drinking water and TDS transparency.
Explain TDS in plain language so anyone can understand what their meter reading means.
Anyone can submit readings, photos, and stories — reviewed before public discussions go live.
Search UK postcodes or click the map to see regional averages — no app install required.
Track trends over time and decide when filtration or further testing might be worth it.

Knowledge Base
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) indicates how much dissolved material exists in water, including minerals, salts, metals, and micro-organic matter. It is measured in ppm.
TDS is not a full contamination test, but it is one of the fastest indicators to spot unusual water behavior and track quality trends over time.
Use a handheld TDS meter, dip into a clean sample, and record the displayed ppm reading immediately.
Ideal quality for most households. Usually clean-tasting and low mineral stress.
Acceptable range but monitor consistently, especially if taste or scaling changes.
Filtration is recommended. May indicate heavy dissolved content in your source water.
Unsafe threshold for routine drinking in many standards. Use treatment and confirm lab testing.
